Thank you for visiting this site. Because of all the photos - the average load time for this site will be about 2 long minutes if you are connecting at 28.8 Kbps. So, I hope you can be patient and maybe just read the text while the pictures are loading (or take a break and come back). To build a single page with so much graphic content is certainly bad practice. But, this is primarily for my own enjoyment and to share with a few friends (who may be willing to give it a minute or two to load). I apologize for the inconvenience. All photos taken by me using my slightly outdated (but first and beloved digital) Olympus D-360L. I think some turned out pretty well.

These are standards developed by the World Wide Web Consortium ( www.w3.org ) - an international organization intent on developing reliable, uniform standards for web design.
