Two cats looking for loving
home(s) in Sonoma County

I have to find new loving homes for my two boys, Shane (3 yrs) and Ringo (5 yrs?), preferably in the Sonoma County, Santa Rosa area. I have several reasons for doing this, the most important of which is for the sake of their well-being and happiness.

If you have any questions about the boys, just ask, I'll be more than happy to tell you whatever I can about them. Oh, I should also say that they are both quite healthy, and they had their initial shots, but I have not been able to afford any more (one of my reasons for giving them up). I have all their papers and they have ID chips from the shelter, too.

Both these boys were shelter cats and I suspect they experienced some trauma from that time as neither like to be held or picked up very much or for very long. However, they have adapted to living in a one-bedroom apartment with me, never going outside (dangerous in so many ways). I feel, though, that they would both be happier if they had more space, and maybe a safe, enclosed space outside for at least part of the day.

Shane and Ringo do not have to go together as they more or less only tolerate each other. They are both very playful, and enjoy being groomed with a slicker brush.

Shane would probably be better as an only cat, but he needs a lot of affectionate attention. But he's a sweetie, too. He'll roll on his back and open his legs for a belly rub and if you're anything like me, you'll put your face right in there in the SOFTEST fur you've ever felt on a cat! His white patch there is a perfect target! ;-D He is a beautiful and intelligent being and is completely worthy and deserving of respect and as much love as can possibly be given.

Ringo is so cool! Quite laid back for the most part. He's a big boy, 20 pounds or so, but he is beautiful, the ultimate tuxedo cat! He rolls on his back, too, but rub his head at the same time as his belly to really bliss him out! He really likes to play and will chase a laser light around the place and make his little noises as he tries to catch that dang light! He is a bit of a talker, too, though I wonder if he'll talk as much under other circumstances. He will jump up and sit next to you, more than in your lap, to knead first and then for a good head and ear rub, but not for too long. And he will wind and rub himself around your legs quite often.

Shane and Ringo are beautiful cats and believe me, when I got them from the shelter, it was for life. However, circumstances change beyond one's control and I've given their well-being and happiness priority over my emotions. I feel finding good, loving homes for them will be better for them than what I can provide. Sadly, I'm having a very difficult time financially and am not able to take care of them as they should be. Happily, they're both very healthy, but if something came up, I really don't know what I'd do.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in taking one or both of my kitties, or if you know someone else who would take them.

Please contact me if you are interested in giving a loving home to my furry friends and we can discuss setting up a face-to-face interview:  ptpjwhite1002@aol.com
